16 July 2010

Last night, MOM enforcement officers conducted a joint raid with the Ministry of Health (MOH) and Health Sciences Authority (HSA) on two residential units. Its  occupiers  were allegedly providing illegal cosmetic procedures.

In the first home at Chin Swee Road, officers found a makeshift beauty salon which had been converted from the condominium unit’s balcony. The foreigner suspected of providing beauty treatments such as Botox injections, which only qualified doctors can do so, is believed to be a Work Permit holder. In the second home at Bukit Batok, officers discovered prohibited medicine and beauty treatment equipment within the residence.
